Trinity Art Show: Spotlight on Art

The holiday season was great! This was my first year to participate in holiday markets and it was exciting and productive. I met so many new and interesting people which lead to some exciting custom design work that I hope to display on this blog soon.

In the meantime I am updating my catalog and busy photographing some new items.

butterfly • hand etched glass

I just found this new glass shape and love the open space it has for engraving/etching. I was tempted to go crazy, but decided to etch a simple design inspired by the recent spring buds and butterflies flying around outside.

This one is currently at the Decatur Market and Gallery.

Happy Valentine's Day! Here is a recent piece that I put in the Decatur Gallery show this past weekend. There was a lovely open house saturday night and many of the artists made special pieces for the "love is in the air" theme.

Have a nice evening! We are doing our usual cooking in on this holiday since we love to cook...for a few weeks we have been talking about making Lions Head Chinese meatballs. I found this beautiful blog listed below and we are combining a few different recipes we have found...now off to the buford highway farmers market to pick up some groceries!

Art Show at Suzuki

This is the banner/sign that just went to the printers...fingers crossed it prints nicely!

It is for the show this weekend. Details are listed in the previous post and below....

I'll be featuring just painting and pastels-with some silhouettes as well. No glass this time!

Also, Brad will be showing his latest adventure--soap! Smile Soaps & Detergents will make its debut. We have been testing it on friends and now it will be available for all to try! He has some fabulous, all-natural, 100& vegan soaps in a variety of scents. Detergent will not be available for this show, but will be ready to unleash soon!
