Here is another quick study of a small vase with my favorite, happy yellow flowers (need to look up their actual name). This is acrylic on board and probably about 4" wide.

Unfortunately I am cheating already...I did this one a few weeks ago. But it made me realize how fun and quick it can be to finish a small little painting in an hour or so.

These little glass jars make me smile... I've been etching on them and will post some pictures of those soon. Many thanks to friends that are collecting these little jelly jars for me.

I've always loved painting and drawing glass. There are so many wonderful shapes, values and reflections. Maybe a little series of these would be fun.
