love birds small vase

Love birds, hand etched on oval vase approx 3.5" tall. $40-Now at the Decatur market and gallery (update this one at the gallery just sold, but there is one available on Etsy!). my etsy shop, click here.

This is a variation of the vase I did this past feb. You cannot tell from this photo, but some of the round leaves are etched inside this vase, adding dimension. I have never thought to do this before, but I liked the effect, especially with this design.

Friends and wine • carafe

This was a special order from a couple weeks ago and a fun example of how customers come up with great phrases of their own! This one says, "Friends, the wine of life".

butterfly • hand etched glass

I just found this new glass shape and love the open space it has for engraving/etching. I was tempted to go crazy, but decided to etch a simple design inspired by the recent spring buds and butterflies flying around outside.
This one is currently at the Decatur Market and Gallery.

Etsy shop!

Finally I have opened an Etsy shop. I have loved Etsy for a long time and enjoy looking at the amazing creative talent out there. Etsy really makes it easy for sellers and shoppers alike.

I am adding things slowly, so keep checking in to see what is new!

"S" monogram tumblers at Gramercy

These 4 lovelies are on display at Gramercy Fine Linens. Gramercy is a beautiful shop run by two lovely ladies. If you are in Atlanta and have not been there, you need to go by. Just beautiful. ( I need to replace this bland photo with one from their shop!)

They will be showing these tumblers and other glass items of mine that can be custom ordered through their store.
I'll be delivering more items to them in the next 2 weeks. So, check it out!

swirly fun love for your valentine

Calligraphy on glass. This is how I first started etching glass and I still love it. I do not use acid, I use a drill and it is very similar to drawing with a pencil...but it is permanent.

These little vases are about 3 or so inches tall and make a perfect gift for your valentine. Just $30, they will be beautiful with an elegant flower perched on top. (I made some paper flowers) The etching is swirly and fun, which makes it prefect for anytime of year, really.

Another plus is that these can be personalized. Add a name, a phrase, a line from a poem (there is not a ton of room, so don't get too crazy...) You can make these your own and have some fun. Just think about conversation hearts or whatever message you'd like to send. Personalized vases are $38.

Currently you can find these at the Decatur Market & Gallery. http://www.decaturgallery.com/
Go by and see the "i love you" vases in person. Other locations will be announced soon and you can always contact me here to order one.

xoxo

Authentique • Inman Park

So many exciting things going on right now!

A few weeks ago I spoke with Candi over at Authentique ( a fabulous home decor boutique in a super cool part of Inman Park). http://www.shopauthentique.com/
Candi has incredible taste with such a fun mix of old and new. It is the kind of place that I could just move right into. I was thrilled that she was interested in my etched glass tableware and just this week dropped off several pieces for her boutique.

This weekend is the big Inman Park Festival--so if you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by to check it out. She has super cool furniture, lamps, soaps and (of course) etched glass work by moi.
